| Best Concert I've ever attended |
| Don't do concerts. |
|
| Favorite comic |
| Stan Laurel of Laurel & Hardy. Brilliant and, unlike most of today's comedians, subtle. |
|
| Most annoying thing that I do |
| Repeat myself. (Did I tell you that the most annoying thing I do is repeat myself?) |
|
| Best vacation spot that I'd recommend |
| Hawaii, if you have the money. Minneapolis-St. Paul, if you're on a budget. Positively the best "big cities" in the U.S. (yes--I've been to most of them!) |
|
| Favorite Restaurant |
| What a question to ask of a guy in sales! Those which are owned and operated by my fine clients, of course! Okay, here's the list. Drifters (especially for the awesome breakfasts). Buck Inn (same owner, awesome food for the rest of the day). Hereford & Hops (wonderful beer and steaks). Delta Pub in Gladstone (fantastic food from the folks who, I think, invented the perfect fish fry). Rapid River A&W (great burgers, great root beer, super clean with super service). Delona (love the salad bar). Gladstone Dairy Flo (love the ice cream). Just Burgers (awesome burgers and fries). House of Ludington (great food and a fun "Irish Pub"--and, yes, you CAN come as you are!) |
|
| Favorite Foods |
| Just about anything Oriental, as long as there's no seafood involved. |
|
| Least Liked Foods |
| Just about anything referred to as seafood, except "regular" seafood like perch or codfish. |
|
| Favorite Movie of all time |
| It used to be "Airplane," but since "Fargo" came out a few years back--well, you betcha its da one with all the Minnesotans in it! For me to enjoy ANY movie, it has to be short. No "Titanic" for me! |
|
| Favorite TV show |
| It's a tie between the "Law & Order" re-runs on A&E and "Biography" (same channel). Don't watch much regular TV (can't remember when my channel selector was last below "13.") |

| Radio Background: |
| My fascination with the medium began as a nine-year-old, when I was invited in to a local Escanaba station for a "tour." My first "official" job was as a part-time newscaster while in college back in 1967. From there, I went on to engineering, sales and ownership...including part ownership of KHLO radio in Hilo, Hawaii. Why am I still in the U.P.?! |
